Nathaniel Fitch inducted into Carolinas Boxing Hall - Bastrop, LA - Bastrop Daily Enterprise
Nathaniel “Sweet Red” Fitch has been inducted into the Carolinas Boxing Hall of Fame.
After graduating from Bastrop High, Fitch enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1977 where he began his career as an amateur boxer.
Transferred to Fort Bragg, N.C. in 1983, Fitch went on to win the 1983 All-Army championship, the 1983 Interservice championship, the 1984 Olympic Sports Festival championship, the 1985 National ABFC championship, the 1987 National Golden Gloves championship and the 1987 Eastern Olympic Trials.
